One thing that I loved about being in Utah was that Alden and I had a ton of family to see all the time. I loved having my sister Katrina nearby to see and hang out with when we both had time. It was also really cute that Katrina was one of the first names that Alden learned. He got really excited every time I asked him if he wanted to go see Aunt Katrina. They always had so much fun together and I will miss seeing Katrina all the time.Alden and I will also miss having Aunt Magann and Alden's cousin Brendon nearby so that Alden could always have a friend to play with. It was always a lot of fun to watch the boys interact together and see their different personalities emerge. We will also miss having all of the rest of Drew's family close enough that we could visit each other fairly regularly.
I know Alden also misses my cousins Kent and Alex playing with him and showing him all the "boy" things to do, like building a fire, building guns with duplos and playing with foam swords. I miss having my Aunt and Uncle upstairs to talk to in the evenings and I am so glad that I got the chance to work on some sewing projects with Jenni while I was in Utah. It was so fun sewing Alden's Halloween costume for this year with her.
I will also miss my Grandparent's and going to their house for dinner on Sundays and seeing all my aunts and uncles there. It was fun to be close to so many family gatherings and get to know a lot of my family better. I will miss all my family as I start on a new adventure but I am excited to be with my husband and son.
Katrina wanted to see what Alden did in a huge rainstorm that hit. He didn't cry but he tried to get back under the covering as soon as he started getting wet. We had a lot of fun watching this rainstorm together while watching The Sound of Music. I loved our sister time!

I took Alden and Brendon to the playground together when I was watching them one day. Brendon was a lot more willing to try and climb stuff than Alden. They had fun together and they didn't fight. I considered it a successful outing.
Sorry this picture is a little blurry but Magann and I went to the Women's Expo together and Brendon's favorite thing there was this huge chair. It was cute to watch him in it.
The week before I left Katrina and I went to one last dance performance together at BYU before I moved away. I always love going to shows with Katrina and critiquing the dancing and choreography with her!
Alden trying on his Halloween costume after Jenni and I had finished sewing it.
Thanks so much to all of my family who have made these last few years in Utah great!
