Watching Videos of Daddy

Alden got a couple DVDs from Daddy around Christmas time that show Daddy reading books and talking to Alden.  Alden was so excited to watch these and loved being able to watch Daddy.  It is really cute because he will respond to Daddy as he talks on the video.  Sometimes Alden will just want to watch the videos over and over  and over again.  I think he likes having Daddy's voice in the background.  I love watching Alden watch these videos because it means he is still interacting with Daddy and it shows that Alden really misses having Daddy at home.

This was the first time that Alden saw this video.  Here is a video of him watching it but I'm sorry it isn't great because Alden insisted on sitting on my lap.

He was so happy to see Daddy!

Here is a video of Alden watching Daddy and talking back to him at some points.  It is cute to see him try and follow along in the books with Daddy.

Also, just as a side-note, Alden came in the room as I was writing this post and immediately asked if he could watch Daddy again.  So, he is currently watching Daddy and I can hear him talking to Daddy and trying to read along with him in the books. It is so sweet!
