Seven Bridges Hike

We had a lot of fun taking a Saturday morning to go on a hike in North Cheyenne Canyon Park.  We went on a hike recommended to us that is called Seven Bridges because you go over seven bridges on the hike.  It ended up being the perfect hike for us because the boys loved getting to throw rocks in the river at tons of different places and Alden loved counting the bridges and was really motivated to get all the way to bridge number seven.  I loved the hike because it was really pretty and calming being next to the river for so much of the hike. I also just loved it because it was a chance for family time.  Here are some pictures from our morning out.

Starting off on the hike next to the river.
It was a very pretty river.
Anders wanted to start throwing rocks in as soon as he saw water.
 Alden was an awesome hiker!
He was happy to be outdoors with rocks, bridges and water.
Making our way across another bridge.
Anders actually hiked quite a bit and did a really good job.
Finding rocks to throw in the river.
I had a cute and cuddly little hiking buddy.
The boys loved taking a break to throw tons of rocks in the river.
So grateful for my awesome husband and for the fact that Eliza slept most of the time.
Drew was super excited about his all red fruit gushers that made him feel like he was a kid again.
 Daddy playing with his boys.

Anders fell asleep near the end but I wasn't that surprised with how much hiking he did for a 2 year old.  Alden just wanted to throw one last rock in the river before we left.  It was a great morning and I am really glad that we did this hike.
