Weekend in Portland

The first weekend in November we went to visit Drew's cousin, Jessie, her husband Eric and their two kids near Portland.  It was a lot of fun visiting with them and seeing all the kids interact together.  The thing that was the most interesting for me was how much Alden interacted with Audrey, their 3 month old daughter.  Alden got really good at saying "baby" while we were there and he would try to pat her back, tickle her stomach or play with her.  He was actually pretty good at being gentle with her which is better than he has been with babies in the past.

Alden liked having a car to ride on for a couple days since his is still packed.

Drew loved getting to snuggle with Audrey while we were there.
Alden loved playing with this "guitar" while we were there.  The boys also liked playing in the backyard together.

So glad that we got to spend time with this sweet little girl and her family.
We went to Chuck-E-Cheese with the kids while we were there.  Alden and Aaron had fun running around and pretending to play games and ride in cars.

Alden was trying to figure out how to get the balls out from under there.

We had fun grouping together to take these photos at a booth there.

Aaron had fun with Drew because he was a new play toy.

Alden was watching very intently as Eric fed Audrey her bottle.

More time in the backyard.

We tried to feed Aaron and Alden pixie sticks to see what they would do.  Alden took a small taste and was done.  Aaron did better than Alden.

It was a great weekend with family and we are so glad that we got to see them!
