Solvang

We had a great time taking Drew's sisters to Solvang on our trip through California.  We went and got lunch when we got there.  Drew ordered a more traditional danish meal and I was very proud of the girls because they tried everything off of his plate!  Even though they did not like most of it I was glad they were adventurous and tried everything!  After eating lunch we had fun walking through the town and looking through a lot of the different shops.  I thought it was a fun outing and we had a good time together.

Alden just had a fruit smoothie and was totally happy!

McKenzie's hamburger and McKayla's croissant sandwich.
This was the more traditional meal with potatoes, red cabbage, sausage and meatballs in gravy.

Such fun girls!

Alden was not a big fan of actually trying on hats in the hat store.
Such a cute and fun village to walk around in.
It was fairly warm the day we were there so Drew wanted to stop for ice cream.
Solvang was a fun stop and helped to break up the drive that day so that we were not in the car all day.
