We really are moving...

For weeks before we moved I kept feeling like it wasn't really happening and we couldn't be leaving our wonderful home in Washington.  I guess it took all of our stuff getting packed up and taken away before it really set in that we were moving and starting on a new adventure.  Our kids actually did better than I expected with all of the packing and they did a fairly good job of staying out of the way and not causing problems.  It actually worked out well because I was able to stand in the garage and watch things go out while Alden played in there.  Anders got passed between me and Drew and eventually went down for a nap.  Considering how bad moves can be, this one was pretty painless.  Here are just a couple pictures of our house all packed up and the truck they loaded everything on to.

Alden was content for a little while sitting in his spot on a couch playing on his tablet while Anders looked out the window and watched.
Lots of boxes...I feel like every time our house gets packed up our stuff expands to twice the size it was before.
Drew had both the boys out front with him, helping supervise the movers for awhile.
Alden had so much fun playing on our bike in the garage while they moved everything else out.  He pretended it was a rocket ship, a plane and a boat.  It was really neat to see his imagination at work as he told me about which buttons did what for his plane.  I was so glad that Alden was happy and not too upset about all our stuff leaving, since he had been upset about the move for awhile.  However, he seemed to understand that they were taking our stuff to our new home and that it wasn't going away forever so he was okay with it.  Now that all our stuff is gone, we are starting to really feel like it is time to move and start our new journey.
