Eliza and her Birthday Cake

My little girl turned one and we celebrated a little less than a week later by singing to her and giving her a cupcake.  I thought she might be like my boys and not very interested, however, as soon as she got her first taste she started devouring the cupcake!  She loved eating it and had no problem getting messy, unlike Alden and Anders.

I absolutely loved seeing her enjoying her cupcake and making the most of her birthday treat!  Here are some adorable photos and videos of of her enjoying her cake!

 All ready for her cupcake.  She even let me put a birthday hat on her head and left it on for most of the time... Neither of the boys tolerated the hat at all.

 I was just really glad she didn't try to grab the candle until it was blown out at least.

 She started off rather timid with the frosting.

 But then she decided it was easier if she just picked the whole thing up.

 So excited!

 She was totally happy just munching away on her cupcake.

 She loved the cake and the frosting!
