Getting to California

The first week of June, Drew got to take his paternity leave and we went to California for that time.  We started by driving down and stopped for the night near Mount Shasta.  I was actually really impressed with how well Alden and Anders did in the car.  Anders got a little fussy towards then end but other than that they were really good the whole first day and the second day went just as well.  But, I think we were all ready to get out of the car by the time we got to my parent's house.

This was our hotel room in Shasta city and I think Alden enjoyed having his own queen bed.

Anders was very excited to get out and stretch when we got to my parent's house.

Such a happy boy to be able to move and play a little more!  I absolutely love his smile!  I was honestly very glad that our trip down went as well as it did because I knew we were going to have to turn around and come home in a week.
