Garden of the Gods

While my parents were here we decided to go to Garden of the Gods together for a little walk with the kids.  Unfortunately Drew had to work during this outing but the rest of us had fun together and it was really nice getting the kids out of the house for awhile.  We all had fun just walking the paved trails and looking at the cool rock formations.  It is a really pretty place to go walking near our house.

Alden loved looking through his binoculars and telling us where to go whenever there was a fork in the path.  Anders loved picking up rocks along the walk and either throwing them or moving them to a new place.  Between the two of them we didn't walk very fast but we were still able to enjoy the scenery and fresh air.

Eliza just stayed cuddled up in the carrier with me the whole time since it was a little chilly out.

 Anders was very excited to get to walk and explore.

It really is a nice place for a walk!

I am glad that I was able to take my parents here while they were in town to see some unique scenery in Colorado Springs.
