Visiting the Zoo

While my parents were here we decided to venture out and take everyone to the zoo.  It ended up being a beautiful day outside, so a great time to be outside and the kids loved getting to see all the animals.  It was great doing an outing with Grandma and Grandpa because there were tons of adults to follow the boys around so that I could just focus on Eliza.  Eliza did really well for the outing.  She slept most of the time in her car seat and then wanted to eat so I fed her and then kept her in the carrier after that.  It was a great day and I really appreciated getting out of the house and being outside.

Grandma and Anders looking at the new baby giraffe that was less than a week old.
The baby just stood in one place for the whole time we were there.
We also met up with some friends at the zoo and Alden had lots of fun feeding a giraffe with them.  At least he actually did it this time and wasn't too scared.
Anders sat in the stroller for a little while while we looked at different animals.
Alden and his friend had fun running around and looking at all the animals together.
Anders eventually wanted out of the stroller and stuck close to Dad.
Alden wanted his picture taken with this little elephant.
Looking at the real elephants with Grandma.
Anders loved watching the otters.  I know you can't see them here but he loved watching them.
The boys were so excited to get to go ride on the carousel with Daddy!
Alden and Anders both had giant smiles on their faces most of the time.
After we got home everyone was a little tired and so we had rest time.  Alden was very sweet, sitting and talking to Eliza for awhile.  It was a great day and I am so glad that we finally got the chance to venture out of the house all together with Eliza.
