Northwest Trek with the Pedersens

While my family was visiting us here in Washington we went and visited Northwest Trek.  It is an outdoor wildlife park with lots of different animals to see.  Alden had a lot of fun with all the family and really enjoyed seeing all the different animals.  It was a fun outing to go on with my family and I am so grateful for the time that I got to spend with all of them.  The park is better described in pictures so here they are.

This was Alden waiting to get onto the tram for the tour that takes you through the open roaming area.
Alden was excited to get on the tram and was excited when we started seeing animals.
I have to admit that I also admired the scenery while we were looking for animals.
Alden and Daddy had a lot of fun together.  This was the first elk we saw and it was right next to the tram.
The bighorn sheep stayed hidden from us but the deer were out grazing.

Alden loved being able to move around and take a turn sitting on everyone's laps.

The moose was one of the most impressive things we saw in the roaming area.

I thought the bison calves were actually really cute.

There was a beautiful view at the top of a hill we drove up.

Alden loved trying to take his own pictures and he was a little scared of touching the sample antler.
Alden loved seeing the bears and I have to admit I found them really cool too.
It was fun searching for the wolves and various cats in their enclosures.
Alden had a lot of fun with his aunts and uncle.

They had a lot of cool animals at NW trek and it was fun to see all of them.

It was a fun outing and it was a good choice for a two year old because he loved all the animals!
