Point Defiance Zoo Again

We had a really good time going to Point Defiance Zoo again while my sister, Katrina, was visiting.  We also had some friends join us for this trip and Alden enjoyed having friends there.  It was a fun outing for all of us.

Alden had fun looking in these little pools but was hesitant to touch anything.

I love elephants but I don't like where they are at this zoo because they are usually hard to see. At least this day they were in a spot where we could watch them.

Alden had a lot of fun having his friends there and he enjoyed seeing all the animals whether they were real or not.

The kids all had a lot of fun feeding the birds with their little sticks of food.

Alden was really happy to get to see a bird so close.

One of the other boys had a bird actually land on his hand which was cool.

I personally really enjoy seeing all the animals that live in the water.

Alden had fun trying to drink his massive orange slushie with Aunt Katrina's help.  They don't have lids or straws in zoos which makes drinking for children a little harder.

It was a little warm so it wasn't surprising to see some animals just lounging in the shade.

The foxes were actually out and visible and moving around a little bit which was cool.

They have this spalsh pad area at the zoo that I didn't even know about.  Alden had a great time playing in the water and getting soaking wet.

Such a happy boy who had a great day at the zoo!
