Christmas Tree Decorating

We decided to put our Christmas tree up early this year.  I am really excited for Christmas so I decided that I was just going to decorate early.  It has made Alden very happy because he loves the Christmas tree.  Alden loves the lights and ornaments on the tree.  I love how much Alden has enjoyed decorating the tree.  Every morning when he gets up now, the first thing Alden wants to do is turn the lights on on the tree.  Here are some pictures and videos from Alden and me decorating the tree.

This was Alden putting some of the first ornaments on the tree.

Alden was so excited to look at all the ornaments and put them on the tree!

Alden would move around all sides of the tree to hang the ornaments.  I had to start telling him to put some of them a little higher.  Here is a video of Alden putting one higher.

It was cute to watch Alden yell out "I did it!" every time he put a new ornament on the tree successfully.  Here is a video of it.

Alden was very interested in this ball and kept asking me questions about it.

Alden was super excited about this car ornament.  We got it at the LeMay Car Museum this last year. This is a video of Alden hanging the car on the tree.

I seriously never get tired of this little boy!

Alden got hold of my camera and wanted to take pictures of some of the ornaments on the tree.

I had Alden sit in front of the tree so that I could take a few pictures of him in front of our fully decorated tree!

He insisted on wearing his hat for most of the pictures.

Mommy and son are both very happy to be enjoying our Christmas tree and how pretty it looks!

Alden insisted on taking a picture of me after I was done taking his picture in front of the tree.  I think Alden got my Dad's love of photography!
