Zoo Outing

We got to go on an outing to the zoo again with some friends.  It was a lot of fun getting to go see all the animals again, especially because there were quite a few that were being active while we were there.  Alden also enjoyed seeing the new jellyfish exhibit that opened recently.  I have to say, compared to the Monterey Bay Aquarium near where I grew up, this jellyfish exhibit was minuscule.  However, it was still cool and it is neat that they have new things there now.  We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed spending the day out with friends!

This elephant was being fairly active while we were there.  He actually came right up to the fence and was swinging his trunk around and opening his mouth right in front of us.

This tiger was being fairly photogenic and actually moved around the exhibit a little bit while we were there.

Alden and one of his friends were trying to find the wolves in this exhibit.  They were laying down and resting.

Alden and his friends had a great time playing in the kids area at the end.  They got to burn off the rest of their energy running around before we headed home.
