Alden and Mommy Teamwork

Alden is always a great little helper in the kitchen and we always have a lot of fun baking and decorating things together.  This time we decided to make red velvet cupcakes with white chocolate frosting that we had fun decorating to look wintery.  Alden was really excited, as always, to get to help me bake but I thought it was especially cute when he started talking about how he and I were using teamwork to make the cupcakes.

Alden and I work really well together as a baking team!  I hope Alden continues to enjoy doing things like this with me as he gets older!

He was very proficient at putting the snowflakes in the middle of the cupcakes.

We then did some cupcakes with candy canes in them at the end and Alden thought that was awesome because he loves candy canes!

These are our finished cupcakes that I thought came out looking really nice and they tasted really yummy!
