Alaska Cruise- Juneau

Our second stop on our cruise was in Juneau.  We took a bus with my family to the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center and then from there we went on a little "hike" (fairly flat and easy) to see the glacier and  waterfall up close.  It was really pretty and a nice walk.  Alden had fun riding in "his packpack," as he says it.  He can't quite say the "b" so it comes out a little funny but cute.  I loved getting to see something new in Juneau, even though we had seen the glacier before we hadn't done it this way and it was fun.

We had beautiful weather for this walk and I loved getting to do this with the family.

The waterfall was beautiful.  Alden liked watching it but he was upset that we wouldn't let him out of the backpack to play.

So great to have my family together!
This was our view of the glacier.
Alden loved riding on Daddy's back.
I just loved the scenery because it was so beautiful!
Alden got to touch some of the glacier ice, that had broken off, in the visitor's center.

We had extra time at the end of our hike so we let Alden out and he had a great time throwing rocks into the water. Here is a short video of it.
Drew had fun skipping rocks while Alden threw his to watch them splash.
It was a really fun day and it was fun to see Alden having lots of fun with something so simple as throwing rocks into a lake.  I am so grateful that I got to go do this with my family.
