The last day that Drew was home we spent time just relaxing and playing together. Although we have said good-bye many times before it is always hard and always different. You never know how you are going to react until the time comes and all you can do is make the most of whatever time you have. We tried to give Alden as much time with Daddy on his last day but it was hard because when it came time to say good-bye Alden didn't really understand. I don't know if there is anyway to make transitions like this easier for a two year old but we just tried to make sure Alden has happy memories with his dad and we talk about Dad every day now. I just wanted to include a couple videos of Alden playing with Daddy that have been taken over the last few months. I love watching my boys together! I can't wait until I get to see them together again!

Drew gave Alden a new set of duplos as a going away present that had a helicopter, truck and plane. Alden was very excited about it and loved having Daddy help him put everything together.
I will miss seeing moments like this for awhile.
