Children's Discovery Museum at Thanksgiving Point

While we were in Utah we got to go to a Children's Discovery Museum with Noel and Kylee which was a lot of fun.  Alden had a lot of fun exploring and playing but it was rather crowded for the first little bit because there was a school field trip there, but after they left it was really nice because it wasn't crowded at all.

Alden enjoyed watching the water flow through the different paths.

Alden found a little ball that he could watch float down the water paths.

There was a really fun playground outside that Alden and Kylee had fun exploring.

Alden thought the swing was nice.  He was not as adventurous on the playground as Kylee but still had a great time.

Kylee liked this little zipline a lot but Alden had no interest in even trying it.

Alden spent a good 20 minutes playing with this digger toy.  He thought it was so fun!

After the playground we went back inside and all the field trip groups had left by then.  Alden liked this toy where he turned the wheel and it made a train move and he could watch the video in front of him which was a camera attached to the front of the train.

Alden and Kylee had a great time playing in front of this screen that made it appear as if they were with dinosaurs, sharks or in an avalanche.

Alden liked "petting" the shark.

If you look closely you can see Alden in the avalanche on the left.

It is amazing how entertaining washing machines are to little kids.  Alden loved watching things spin around in the windows of these "washing machines."

I am glad that Noel invited us to go on this outing while we were in Utah because it was a lot of fun.  It was nice to get to visit with her and it was nice to take Alden somewhere that was very age appropriate and where he could just play and have fun.
