Park Time

We are getting into the rainy season here in Washington so we have to take advantage of all the sunny days that we have while we can.  There is a nice little park and walking trail near our house that is fun to go visit.  Alden loves the playground there but he also loves walking on the trails and looking and listening for all the animals.  I am really impressed at how good Alden is getting at recognizing the sounds that different animals make.

There were lots of leaves that had fallen from the trees when we went on this walk and Alden enjoyed picking them up.  He thought this one was cool because it was so big.

While we were on this walk Alden kept stopping me and he would tell me to be quiet.  Then he would listen for animals and tell me whether he heard a frog, bird, bee or dog.  He got them all right.

Alden loved walking across all of these fallen leaves.

This was another day at the park but I just love how happy Alden gets on the swing.
