Trunk-or-Treat

So tonight Alden and I went to a trunk-or-treat on base put on by Drew's battalion.  It was a lot of fun and Alden started really getting into it.  He loved going up and asking for candy and he loved getting to eat some of it at the end.  I can not believe the amount of candy that he got tonight and we still have trick-or-treating tomorrow night. I am certainly going to have a lot of candy to give away after Halloween is over!

Alden loves his costume this year; he is a pilot but if you ask him he will probably just tell you that he flies planes.  He loves getting dressed up so all the Halloween stuff has been really fun this year because Alden is finally getting old enough to appreciate it.

Alden was still enjoying a lollipop when we got in the car to head home.  I do appreciate that lollipops take a lot longer for him to eat than some candy.

SO much candy! Especially for a little boy like him!

Enjoying one last treat before bedtime, a package of m&ms.  I am just grateful that even after eating the sugar he was so tired that he went right to sleep!
