First Outing with Daddy Back

Once Drew got home we were very anxious to get back to our normal routine which also includes all of our fun weekend and day trips!  The first trip we did together was going to Northwest Trek because Alden really wanted to go see animals (which was really no surprise).  We had a lot of fun going and walking around together and just being a family.  I loved having Drew there to help with the kids and it was fun to see Alden interacting with Daddy and having fun with him again.  I also loved the fact that we got to see some baby animals that were only a couple weeks old!

Daddy helping Alden see the bears.
And trying to make sure that Alden didn't dive right into their enclosure...
Anders was all bundled up in his stroller and very content there.

The wolves were out wandering about so Alden had a lot of fun watching them.

Alden and Daddy looking at the big cut out of a tree together.
Alden started looking for bees everywhere we went and he was actually pretty good at finding them.  It was also cute because he kept telling me "The bees get the pollen, Mommy."  I am so glad my child loves learning.

Alden playing with a frog puppet at the Discovery Center.
My boys all excited for the tram ride and hoping that we see lots of animals.

I know these pictures are not very good but these were the bighorn lambs who were less than a week old.  They were so cute and precious!

And these were the bison calves that were only a few weeks old!

Alden loved the tram ride!
We let Alden walk everywhere that day and he thought that was a lot of fun!
The black bear was out exploring while we were there too!
Anders being content and enjoying Northwest Trek in his own way!
Alden comparing his hand to the bear footprints.  It is fun to see him learn simple things like how to compare sizes and see which is bigger and smaller.

All my boys together!  This just makes me so happy and grateful for the wonderful family I have.  I am so blessed!

We had a great day being together as a family.  It seriously feels like everything is back to normal and I am just so happy and grateful for all the time we have together. I couldn't imagine anything better than just being with all three of my boys!
