EMP Museum

We had fun going back up to Seattle and going through the EMP museum, which is a museum mostly about music history.  However, they also had some cool collections from science-fiction and fantasy TV shows and movies.  They had some really cool exhibits with old guitars, hands on exhibits and one of my favorites was seeing a life-size Dalek.  Here are the pictures from our trip to the EMP museum.

This was in the center of the museum and went up three stories.

They had a bunch of really cool old guitars.

Alden and Daddy listening to music from a variety of bands.

The awesome life-size Dalek!
An original Cyberman costume.

A Star Trek costume and weapons from all different Science-Fiction movies.

Alden really liked the Superman costume.
Some original costumes from The Wizard of Oz and the Princess Bride.  The dress from The Princess Bride  was so beautiful in person.

Bow and arrow from The Chronicles of Narnia.

These are model buildings built from legos.  The one Drew is standing next to is in Dubai, close to where he will be next year.

Alden loved this section of the museum where he got to play with actual instruments.  He loved the guitar and drums.

Alden got the hang of using the drumsticks really quickly.

We had an awesome time walking around the museum and seeing tons of new things.  I loved the science-fiction and fantasy exhibits, Alden loved the hands-on instruments and I think Drew just had fun seeing everything.  It was an awesome day and a cool experience.
