LeMay Car Museum

Since Alden has been so interested in cars lately we decided to take him to the car museum when Drew had a Monday off work.  The LeMay Car Museum had different displays on different floors and ramps.  They had a Volkswagon display right now, then they had the normal displays full of cars from throughout the years.  We walked all the floors and Alden was very good at not touching the cars unless he was told he could.  It was fun walking around and seeing all the cars and I always find it funny how Drew manages to pick out the most expensive cars, without even knowing it, as his favorites. Here are the pictures from the car museum.

The classic bug that Drew likes.

I loved that they had all different types of cars there, even if I thought some were ugly.
Alden ended up liking almost all of the bright yellow cars.

I love seeing the really old cars from the 1920s or so, and seeing how much cars have changed over the years.
This was the view of Tacoma from the back windows of the car museum.
Okay, this just does not look comfortable because there is pretty much zero leg room.
This was the car that Drew picked on the first floor as his favorite and it was the most expensive car in the whole museum because there were only forty of them made or so.

As you can see here they had rows and rows of cars to look at.
That is a car with a cool design (on the right) but I'm not sure I would want to drive it.

I'm pretty sure that this was Alden's favorite car in the whole museum. I think it looks a little more like a rocket than a car.
Drew once thought about buying an old jeep like the one on the left for his car to drive.
I have to say that I thought there were a few cars that just looked funny.

This car was out so that people can sit in it and as you can see, Alden thought it was amazing!
They had a family play area downstairs where we had fun racing derby cars and playing with cars on a track.

It's an Alden size car!

I thought the one on the left looked a little funny because it looks like it should be attached to horses as a carriage but it was a car.

We had an awesome time walking around and seeing all the cars and it was really entertaining for all of us.
