Coming home from Victoria

The day we came home we walked around the downtown area near the pier before we got on the ferry. The weather was beautiful in Victoria but then the ferry ride was really rocky. Drew ended up sleeping for part of the ferry ride and I tried to keep Alden a little contained but he loves to explore and run. Alden was a great little traveler like always and we had a smooth drive back home.

The Empress Hotel really is beautiful.

Alden was so excited to see all the boats and be walking along the water.

The hardest part of this day of traveling was keeping Alden entertained while we sat in the car waiting to board the ferry.

Alden had a lot of fun figuring out how to take pictures with my camera.  I have about 30 different pictures of Daddy sleeping with various amounts of Alden's finger in the picture.  

This was our view out the window which Alden also took pictures of.  He was really cute while he was experimenting with the camera.

Alden and Dad had a great time goofing off after Dad woke up.
