Drew had a four day weekend in March and we decided to use it to go visit Victoria, Canada. We drove to Port Angeles and stayed the night there before taking the ferry the next morning over to Victoria. Alden loved walking around on the ferry and seeing the water.
Drew was reading up on all the things we were about to go see in Victoria while we waited for the ferry.
Alden found a comfy chair and was content to sit there and just look out the window for about ten minutes before he wanted to start walking.
Alden and Daddy had a lot of fun exploring the boat together.
The view looking back at Washington was very pretty and I was glad it wasn't raining.
Alden was chatting to us and telling us about the different things he saw like "boat"s, "bird"s and "water."
I thought it was funny that the one time someone actually offered to take a family picture Drew ended up closing his eyes.
Towards the end of the ride we got Alden to sit down and eat fruit snacks before we went and started exploring Victoria.
We made it!
