Victoria- Royal BC Museum

The first thing that we did in Victoria was park our car and then walk over to the Royal BC Museum.  We had a lot of fun walking through all the exhibits and seeing the history of the area.  There was also a really cool temporary exhibit there based on the 2013 wildlife photographer of the year.  The photos in that display were really impressive and cool to see.  We couldn't take any photos in that exhibit because they were all photographs but I had to mention it because it was so cool.

Alden wasn't really sure what to think of the giant woolly mammoth.

Alden was really excited when he was able to actually touch some things.  He loved this steering wheel.

Alden also found the giant totem poles interesting.

I love seeing all the intricate work on the clothing and other crafts from past civilizations.

Drew enjoyed looking at all the clothes from past decades and discussing which ones he wouldn't mind wearing and which ones he would.

I love this part of the museum where they had life-size displays set up like old towns and farms that you could walk through.

Alden loved watching the water wheel.

This was the view of Victoria from the second story of the museum.  It is such a pretty city.
