Alden's Christmas Finger Painting

I had fun showing Alden how to finger paint and helping him make some pictures to send to Daddy.  Alden was a little timid and unsure about touching the paint at first but once he got started and figured out it was easy to clean off his hand he had a lot of fun.  He would tell me which colors he wanted to use and I would get them out for him and then I would help him if we were working on a specific picture but otherwise he enjoyed just putting fingerprints everywhere on the paper.  Here are the pictures of Alden's finger painting adventure.

This was the paper where I let Alden just put dots wherever he wanted which he thought was a lot of fun.
He was really excited to be trying something new.
Alden was very careful to only use one figure at a time and keep the rest clean.

This was the handprint Christmas tree that Alden made to send to Daddy.
Here are the completed pictures of a string of Christmas lights and Alden's own creative picture doing whatever he wanted.
This was Alden decorating his handprint Christmas tree with ornaments the next day.
Alden had a blast making and sending all of these pictures to Daddy.  I love watching him try new things and enjoy them.
