Packages to Daddy

Alden and I send packages to Drew even few weeks with various things like candy, cookies, cards, some small toys and other things like that.  We really enjoy putting the packages together and Alden always likes doing drawings or pictures for Daddy.  These are some pictures from putting together a few packages over the last few months.

This was Alden coloring his picture for Daddy.

This picture says "Sending you a hug." Whenever we do these projects Alden talks about how much he loves and misses Daddy but as soon as I try and get it on video he gets more shy.  This is the best I can do of getting him on video. Video 1  Video 2

This was the box we sent to Drew the week of Christmas.  We included lots of our homemade Christmas cookies, cards and a little bit of candy.

This was Alden halping me wrap everything in the box that we sent to Drew in the beginning of December.  We put all the pieces to the Gingerbread house kit in this box and wrapped them all individually.  Alden had fun with the tape and really enjoyed putting bows on.

Alden also picked out this candy cane shaped container of candy to send to Daddy.

 This is the box from the beginning of January all filled up and ready to go.  We had fun wrapping everything so that Dad had lots to unwrap.

These are some pictures Drew took when he unwrapped the stuff from the box.  We sent him this small lego kit which he built and had a fun playing with.

These were the cards and some of the candy that we put into a box that we sent Drew in November. Alden really enjoyed making a hand print turkey and has been really excited for any art involving his hand print since then.  We also included a foam Christmas tree in this box.

 This was Drew decorating his little Christmas tree and assembling some foam penguins that we sent him for fun too.

We love putting packages together for Daddy and it is a fun way to keep Alden involved with him.
