Christmas Boutique at the Fairgrounds

During the first week of December there was an event at the fair grounds near our house called a Victorian Country Christmas.  It is a fun event to go to where there are lots of little stands to go look at where people sell a wide variety of stuff, mostly related to Christmas.  It is a fun place to look at ornaments, nativitives, Christmas decorations and little Christmas gifts.  Alden and I went with my friend Sarah and we had a great time walking around and looking at everything.  Sarah and I had a lot of fun looking at the boutiques and Alden liked seeing all the decorations and riding on the carousel.  It was a really fun outing and it reminded me of going to this last year with Drew the week after moving into our house.  I am really glad that we got to go again this year and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere.

Alden found this giant teddy bear (that I personally think looks a little creepy) and he really enjoyed looking at it.
This was Alden getting to ride on the carousel with me. (Thank you to Sarah for taking these photos)
Alden was very excited to get to ride on his "horsie."

Alden was pointing out to me where Sarah was.

They had a Santa's village area with lots of Christmas decorations.  It was really pretty and I wanted to take a picture with Alden in front of the tree.  This is what happens when you try to force a two year old to take a picture somewhere he doesn't want to take a photo....he turns into a sqwirm worm.

But, I think we ended up getting some pretty cute pictures!
Alden was much more excited to get to sit in the fire place to take a picture.
I think he just liked it because it was a novelty and just his size.  It was fun to let him explore a little.
Then, becasue I had someone else to take a photo, I took this one...I am 25 weeks in this photo.

This was a really fun outing and I was grateful to get to spend a fun day with a wonderful friend and my son!  I love the Christmas season and really enjoy making the most of it.
