Anders at 6 Months

I can't believe how fast my little guy is growing.  He is so much fun and so easy going.  He is perfectly happy to lay on the ground or sit by himself and play with toys for a little while.  It is nice that he is so easy going so that I am able to get other things done while he plays but I also don't mind when he occasionally just wants to be held or cuddled because I truly cherish the moments I have with him and Alden.

Over the last month Anders has improved at sitting, he has gotten two teeth (lower middle), he has started grabbing and playing with more toys and enjoyed trying new solid foods.  Here are some pictures from the last month of Anders and some of the fun times we have around the house.

Alden has this cape that he got from my brother and he wanted Anders to put it on. I thought it was cute!
Super Baby!

Anders just laying on the ground playing with his frog.
He is always so ready with a smile and it makes me so happy!

Anders does not move around much yet but he is perfectly happy just sitting up surrounded by toys.

I also have to say that I love Anders' blue eyes!  I hope they stay blue because I think they are gorgeous.

Anders playing with Puppy.  Alden has decided he is okay sharing some of his toys, like this one, with Anders.
So many smiles!

Alden wanted to sit next to his brother for a couple pictures.  He really does try to be a great older brother and succeeds most of the time.

This was another day we were just having fun hanging out and playing around the house.
Alden loves to give his brother kisses and he is getting better at realizing that there are times when he is sleeping and eating that he should leave him alone...but he doesn't always remember.
Alden wanted to use the camera and take pictures of me since I got to take pictures of him.

Such big and happy smiles!

Okay, so this sequence of photos has a little story behind it.  We are trying to work on getting Alden to keep his fingers out of his mouth because he likes to just chew and suck on them. We are always reminding him to take his fingers out of his mouth.  Well, right as I took the first picture I saw that he had his fingers in his mouth and I asked him to take them out.  What followed was pretty funny as he took them out and then pretended like they tasted yucky.  It made for some cute photos and does actually document something we go through multiple times a day as we work on trying to break this habit.

I don't know why Alden decided to pretend like his fingers were yucky this time but it was funny.

 Alden saying "bleh."
I was just resting on the floor and keeping Anders company and Alden wanted to take a picture.  I really do love just getting to relax and create memories with my boys.  They grow and change so quickly that I am trying to take advantage of all the time I have with them.
