So on Monday Drew only had to work a half day which was nice because it meant we got to go explore and try somewhere new for lunch and then we were able to go on a walk as a family. So, for lunch we walked up to Itaewan which isn't too far from where we live. Itaewan is considered the "foreign district" from what I have been told and so there are all different kinds of restaurants and vendors in that area. We ended up eating at a Thai restaurant that was really good. I got a yellow curry with rice noodles and drew got a spicy noodle dish. (Sorry I don't remember their names) Drew was excited because the food there was finally spicy enough for him. Apparently it is hard to find spicy foods here. (Oh and I'm sorry I don't have pictures from there but hopefully I will remember next time)
Anyways, later that afternoon we took a walk over to Yongsan Family Park and the surrounding areas. It was fun seeing the way parks are done here and Alden loved being outside! (Oh, and I'm sorry about my lens being dirty. I didn't realize it until later)
The following photos show the "battle of the hat" as it happens every time we try to put a hat on Alden.
So this area, with all the Stone Pagandas, connects the family park to the National Mueseum of Korea which you can see across a pond in a later picture.

We found this huge bear at the playground in hte park and Alden had fun trying to play on it.
The Battle of the Hat all over again!
