Alden's Preschool Christmas Party

Alden has been going to preschool this year and loving it!  It is so neat to see him so excited to go socialize and hang out with other little kids and it is even more exciting when he actually comes home and tells me something he learned!  =)  His preschool was doing a little Christmas party right before break and I signed up to bring a treat and I thought that we would do something that Alden could help with.

We made little sprtiz cookies in the shape of trees and stars.  Alden was really excited because by the end he could make them all on his own!  They came out really cute and it was a really fun afternoon activity for Alden and I to do together.

Alden's Preschool party was a lot of fun and it was really cute.  The kids had rehearsed a couple songs that they preformed for the parents.  Alden really liked it when he got to shake bells while singing "Jingle Bells."  They also had Santa come visit for the party and the kids gave their parents something they had made for them.  It was a fun morning and it is really nice to see that Alden is adjusting well to preschool and really enjoying it!

Alden loved making the Christmas tree cookies with the cookie press.

They didn't necessarily come out perfect but Alden had a lot of fun and that was what was important!
Alden also loved putting sprinkles on the cookies after he had pressed them.
This is a video of Alden making the Spritz cookies by himself.
I had to put this picture in because I just loved his face.
Here are some of the cookies that got chocolate drizzled on the top.
This was when all the kids were singing to the parents.

I loved watching Alden poke his head out so that he could see me while he sang.

Alden was so excited about giving Mommy a gift which was really sweet!  I love my sweet 3 year old and I love being a parent!
