Decorating the Pedersen Christmas Tree

While we were in California we got to decorate my parent's Christmas tree with all of my siblings.  It was a lot fun, especially for Alden who loves hanging up ornaments.  I love Christmas time so much and I seriously love decorating for the holidays so I was excited to get to help decorate at my parent's house too.  I think that this combined two of my favorite things from the holidays, decorating and spending time with family!

Alden had fun looking at the ornaments with me and then hanging them on the tree.

Alden was very happy to help everybody put their ornaments on the tree.

I love seeing my whole family doing activities together!

Such a beautiful Christmas tree!  Decorating it as a family also helps me remember doing it as a little kid with all of my siblings.  We have always made decorating the tree a family activity and I have a lot of great memories with my siblings and parents from those times!

Anders wanted to be held so I mostly just held him and supervised the decorating process.

My Dad wanted to try and be the Bumble...unfortunately he wasn't quite tall enough.

Alden found the penguin during the decorating process and had to tuck him in nicely.  

Anders, got some Grandma time which he normally loves, but at this moment he was not particularly happy about it.

However, once he was actually dressed in his PJs he was happy and ready to play. =)  I love my sweet little baby who always loves to play and be happy at bedtime, as if he knows that he will then get to stay up later.
