Fantasy Lights

We had a lot of fun going and driving through Spanaway Fantasy Lights for family home evening on a Monday night.  I look forward to seeing places light up with Christmas lights every year, and then I try to make the most of it.  I was really excited to go visit these lights and I was glad the weather cooperated and it didn't rain very much while we were there so we could have the windows down and see the lights better.

Alden seemed to enjoy it and had fun pointing out different things that he saw.  I think his favorite things were all the presents.  Every time he saw one he would shout out "It's a Present!" and point at it.  It was fun to see Alden get excited about all the lights and point out the presents along with a lot of other things he saw.  He told me his favorite thing was the monster (sea monster) but I know he liked a lot of things, like the volcano.  Here are a few pictures from our visit to the lights. I hope they show a little of how beautiful and pretty they were.

They had the mountains with a volcano at the beginning and I loved all the lanterns in the tree.
One of the deer that you could find in the exhibits.
A shark and Alden's favorite, the monster.

Here was the train station and train and a dump truck that was dumping presents.
Here was a jck-in-the-Box and what I called the Seahawks tree.  It was decorated in, what looked to me, to be Seahawks colors and it was very pretty.
Santa and one of his elves.
This is one of my favorite things there.
We all enjoyed Santa's present cannon.  Drew couldn't get a picture of it actually shooting a present but it was really fun to watch.

Here are some cute penguins, that were fun to watch, and a spaceship.
I thought the poinsettia arch was beautiful and so was the tree with all of the lanterns.  This was a great family activity and I am so glad that we took the time to go and appreciated the Christmas lights.
