Provo 4th of July Parade

This year we started our 4th of July by going to watch the 4th of July parade in Provo.  It is the same parade that I watched almost every year growing up so it was special to go back again with my own kids.  (Yes, I am a completely sentimental person).  Alden and Anders loved that they got doughnuts for breakfast while they waited for the parade to start.  Eliza was happy sitting with family and lying in the shade.

My sister-in-law, Lani, came very prepared and brought fans with water misters to keep cool during the parade and Alden loved it!  It kept him entertained the whole time and cool.  We had a great time seeing all the floats, marching bands and other people in the parade!  It was a fun morning for everyone.

Alden seriously loved his doughnuts!
Anders enjoyed his doughnut a lot too!  Don't mind his smile with his mouth full. 😄
All my boys getting to enjoy the parade together.
Alden loved playing with his cousins at the parade and loved using his mister the whole time.
Eliza enjoyed cuddle time with Mimi and Alden enjoyed watching the parade with cousins!
My sweet smiley girl!
My sister-in-law took these adorable pictures of Eliza!
The boys loved seeing all the police on motorcycles and the firetrucks as they came by.
It was fun having Aunt Katrina there too.
I'm sorry most of my pictures are not very good, I took most of them while holding a baby.  There were some really cool floats like the dragon above.
I was amazed at how happy the mister made Alden.
It was definitely a very hot day so it was nice to have some shade to sit in with Eliza and it was nice that Lani brought the little fans.
And just because this brought back childhood memories..it is a giant cookie monster.  It was a fun way to start our day watching the parade and I am glad that my kids had so much fun there!
