I was also glad that we could take the kids to put flowers on my grandparents' grave while we were there. It is important for me to teach my kids about their ancestors and to keep the memories of my family alive.
Visiting my grandparents' grave. Alden picked the flowers and he wanted to make sure they had Christmas flowers.
It is still sometimes hard for me that I can't see or talk to them but I am so grateful for their influence in my life and I know I will see them again.
Eliza loved having a new place to explore.
We opened a few presents early and, as expected, Eliza just wanted to play with the paper.
The kids were so excited that they got to help decorate another Christmas tree!
My mom gave us all matching PJs for an early Christmas present. The boys were so excited that they had Mickey Mouse on them! I just love the idea of matching PJs.
I look so tired in this picture (because I was) but I still love us in the matching outfits.
Alden was so excited to try to help with the puzzle.
I love how Alden just ended up sitting on the table so he had a better view.
He did actually manage to get a few pieces in.
I had so much fun dressing Eliza up in all of her Christmas outfits!
She really is totally adorable! Yes, I know I am biased but still... 😍
