December Fun and First Snow

I know I say this a lot but I love the Christmas season, it just makes me happy.  I am also loving getting to dress Eliza up in cute little outfits!  I especially loved getting to dress her up in a Christmas dress that my Nana made for me when I was a baby.  I love having those connections between generations for my kids.

It was also fun that we got our first snow this year and the boys loved getting to play in it even though it was not enough to even cover the grass.  It was just enough that Anders was able to play in it and throw powder everywhere. 

We also got to go to Drew's unit Christmas party that ended up being quite a bit of fun.  The kids were really excited because they got to see Santa fly in on a helicopter which they thought was awesome!  Then they got sit in a Chinook helicopter while Santa read the Polar Express.  It was a fun event for the family!

Anders was so excited to get a new set of Christmas Duplos that had Santa, a reindeer and a sleigh!

Alden wanted to be up right in front of Santa, until about half way through the story and then he was just done listening and ready to do something else.  He is not always very patient...  It was a fun event for the kids.
