This was painted on the stairs at the subway exit for the park.
I'm not exactly sure what the funny yellow creatures are but we saw them at a few places in the park.
Snow White and some of her Seven Dwarfs
This area was an environmental pond that you could walk through. There were lots of cool plants and it was fun trying to find the "animals" hidden among the plants which you can see an example of below. Since it is really hard to tell, it is a bunny riding on the back of a turtle.
This is just an example of some of the cool carvings that they had throughout the park.
Okay, so this building only had labels in Korean so we did not actually know what it was until we got inside. It was a huge area with demonstrations on the power of water, from what we could tell. Alden enjoyed wandering and playing.
You could move pieces around in here to make water flow how you wanted it to.
Alden wanted to touch the water!
I know it doesn't look like it here but Drew and I both had a lot of fun playing with the demonstrations!
An exhibit Alden liked to watch and a place that he could climb.
Alden just wanted to walk and explore everywhere!
Drew helping Alden figure out the correct way to carry the buckets.
Alden tried to figure out how to do it on his own...he isn't quite big enough.
Alden wanted to do whatever Daddy did.
This was really cool...it lit up and showed the process of how we get rain.
Alden's favorite thing was the fishies! Here is a video of it.
They had huge open grassy areas and tons of sports fields for soccer, basketball, tennis and more.
There were these small little tunnels that you could walk through. They were my least favorite thing of the whole park because they were filled with flies.
This was a cool wooden structure that would be a lot of fun for kids slightly older than Alden.
These were all along some of the pathways . Very different from back in the US.
Alden liked this fountain because with the wind blowing he would get sprayed with a little bit of water which helped cool him off.
This was a cool train that you could walk along to see how trains used to look.
More dwarfs, and poor Dopey is missing a hand.
Okay, so I finally got a picture of Alden's favorite way to stand when he is observing fishies!
He loved this digital projection of tadpoles! We weren't really sure what this building was but it was another place to go inside and let Alden explore.
Alden is shaking the creature's hand and Drew is in my heart! (Yes, I know it is cheesy)
Drew trying to play hide and seek but Alden just wants to find the tadpoles again.
The debate Alden had, go play with another little kid or with the tadpoles?
The tadpoles won! My cute little boy.
Keep watching for the second post from this park that I will try to have done really soon. I hope you are enjoying seeing our adventures!
