The tombs we visited housed two former kings and a former queen who ruled in the 1400s and 1500s. The tomb-keepers houses, guard's houses and shrines are all still there for you to see as well. In the pictures below you will be able to see the tombs (which are mostly huge dirt mounds) with statues surrounding them.
The Tomb Keeper's House
These tombs are in the middle of a very crowded city area...just look back through the door.
Alden wanted to look at everything.
Our little boy wanted to get out and walk. Here is a video of it.
The shrine outside the first tomb
Alden started getting a little fussy so we gave him music. Here is a video of it. Sorry if it is a little hard to hear.
The stairs that you had to walk up to get to the second tomb.
Tomb Number 3!
This was the shrine for the third tomb and the guard's house.
We had a really good time walking around here and seeing the tombs (even if Drew has seen cooler ones further south in Korea). We hope you enjoyed the pictures!
