Morning at the Beach

On our last morning in Myrtle Beach we got up early and headed down to the beach one last time.  It was a beautiful morning at the beach and we were very happy that it was pretty empty so we had a lot of space to ourselves.  Anders absolutely loved playing in the sand and getting to smash castles and throw sand all over the place.  Alden loved building sandcastles with Dad and running back and forth to fill up his tiny little watering can.

Drew was so great at building a whole fortress for the kids and then letting Anders be a little monster and destroy it.  I loved watching them all play and have so much fun together.  It was perfect family time because everyone was happy and we were just enjoying each others' company.  Not to mention that it was a beautiful morning with very picturesque views in every direction.  This was the perfect end to our few days in Myrtle Beach!

Anders was totally happy to get down and start playing in the sand again.

After he was done playing in the sand Dad walked with him into the ocen to clean off, which he was not very happy about.

Anders did actually end up sitting in some of the water, as the tide was coming in and as long as it was shallow and there were no huge waves he was okay.  It was nice to see him having fun and getting more comfortble in the water.

I just love the beach!  I can't seem to overstate how much fun we had here and how much we loved visiting Myrtle Beach!  It was absolutely amazing and picture perfect!
