Jeju Island: Cliffs, Hotel and Jeongbang Falls

So the rest of our first day there we spent visiting some really neat cliffs built up by volcanic activity called the Jusangjeolli cliffs.  We also went and saw Jeongbang waterfall which is the only waterfall in Asia that falls directly into the ocean.  Those were both really neat to see.  Jeongbang waterfall was one of my favorite things from our trip down to Jeju.  Other than that we walked around the grounds at our hotel, visited E-mart (It is like a Korean Walmart) to get Alden some milk and get our dinner, and just rested and got settled in the hotel.

 The entrance to Jusangjeolli cliffs.
Alden liked watching the water and big waves below us.

Alden did not want me to hold him.  He wanted to be walking on his own!

Drew and Alden had a lot of fun exploring here.

After the cliffs it was off to the hotel to explore the grounds and rest while Alden napped for a little bit.

Alden discovered this fountain and thought it was so cool.
The beautiful view from our hotel.

That is our hotel on the top of the hill.

After exploring the hotel grounds and resting we went to see Jeongbang waterfalls which was our last stop of the day besides E-mart for food.  Here are the photos from our walk to Jeongbang falls.

Looking down on the waterfall and the beach.

Alden loved this place because you got sprayed by the water so it kept him cool.

Drew enjoyed seeing the Pacific Ocean again.

So, that was our first day on Jeju Island.  We had such a blast and it made us really excited for the rest of our trip which I will try and post about soon.
