Lunch and Fort Clatsop

After visiting the Tillamook Cheese Factory we drove a little ways to somewhere where we could stop along the coast for lunch.  We enjoyed a nice picnic lunch with a beautiful view of the ocean.  Alden enjoyed getting to look out at the ocean for the first time in awhile.

After stopping for lunch we drove on to Fort Clatsop where we stopped for another chance to stretch our legs and look around.  That had a neat replica of the old fort that we got to walk through and look at.  It was a fun little stop where Alden enjoyed finding the beds and little chairs at the fort.  Alden was also able to get another Junior Ranger badge which he was excited about.  It was fun to see him having fun exploring.

Drew and I are both very glad that we do not have to sleep on beds like that!  It was fun looking around the fort and the area around the fort was really pretty too, so it was a nice stop.
