Getting to Jasper

After spending the night in Kamloops we were on the road again headed to Jasper National Park.  Our drive went pretty smoothly except for needing to make a couple more stops than expected because of different things our kids needed.  However, we still got to Jasper in time to cook dinner at the hotel and explore the town.  I also enjoyed the fact that we didn't rush the drive and instead stopped to enjoy a picnic lunch at a pretty lake and we stopped at a rest stop with a pretty overview that was fun to walk to.

Alden was also really excited to get to run around and play on the playground for a little bit.

Alden even had fun chasing Grandpa around trying to get him  It was cute and fun to watch.  We had a good day of driving but we were all glad when we reached Jasper and knew we would not have to get back in the cars for awhile.
