Remlinger Farms

We had a lot of fun going to Remlinger Farms after we picked raspberries.  We thought it sounded like it would be a fun outing for Alden and it was.  Unfortunately we didn't get to stay as long as we wanted to because Alden got tired quickly and then he got cranky and whiny so we didn't feel like staying longer.  It was a fun place to play, explore, go on rides and let Alden ride a horse for the first time.  I am glad that we got to go, I am just sad that Alden was having a bad day so that we had to leave early.

While the other boys were playing with the digger I had a great time playing with my smiley baby.  Anders was having such a great time and just smiling and laughing for me.  These are some of my favorite pictures of the whole day.

 Alden was so excited to ride on the train and was very determined to be in the front, even though he got a little nervous towards the end of the ride and wanted to be done.

Alden had so much fun getting to feed the animals in the barn.  Alden was not scared of any of them and just wanted to get up close and hand feed them.

Alden and Daddy had a lot of fun exploring and playing hide and seek in this maze together.  It was too bad that it made both of their allergies flare up.

Daddy and Alden had to climb up to the top of this together because it just looked like fun.

 This was Alden's favorite ride of the day.  He just wanted to ride it over and over again.  It wasn't very busy so they just let him stay on as long as he wanted.

We did get Alden to go on one bigger ride with Mommy but he didn't like it as much as the horses.  As soon as we got off this ride he ran straight back to the horse ride.

Then we found these cool old bus and fire truck that Alden wanted to play on, but unfortunately this is where Alden really started to fall apart because he was so tired.

We decided to let Alden ride a horse once for the experience, if he was good in line (which he was), and he seemed to really like it.  Although, as you can tell from the pictures, he wanted to hold Mommy's hand the whole time.  It was cute to watch Alden warm up to the horse and enjoy the ride.  After this we decided it was time to take Alden home for a nap.
