Pyramid Lakes

After resting at the hotel for a little while we went back out to Pyramid Lake near Jasper for a little walk and to enjoy the views.  We ended up starting off just walking down to the edge of the lake from where we parked the car and found this little dock with boats on it.  We enjoyed some pretty views from there and then walked a little ways so we could go across a bridge to Pyramid Island.  It was a fun little evening outing that I found very enjoyable.

At the end of our full day in Jasper I could just think how beautiful the park was and how much I wanted to explore and see more.  I guess that just means that I will have to go back again someday.

The little dock area that we found when we first walked down to the waterfront.
Drew enjoyed getting to hold and cuddle with his little boy as we took in the view.
Grandpa and Alden were looking for fish in the water.

This is looking over at Pyramid Island and the bridge getting to it from the dock that we started at.  We walked over to the island from the dock.

Walking across the bridge to Pyramid Island.
It was so nice to be able to experience all this as a family.
It was beautiful out there and the weather was really nice!
Drew looking at all the fish off the bridge.

Alden thought it was great to be able to throw rocks in the lake when we got to the island.  I think that was his favorite thing to do almost everywhere we went.
Such a sweet boy who is growing up so fast!  I love watching him grow and learn but sometimes I can't believe how fast the time has gone by since he was a baby!
